Leaving the Bonneville Drive Home.
Beginning with the sale of their home on Bonneville Drive, Scappoose Oregon, Gary and Judy have been traveling the USA.
Start: May 21, 2004 – Everything is either in storage or in our Honda Civic. We drove South to Gilroy California and spent several days with our son, Glen's, family.
May 26, 2004 - We began working our way North to Lacy Washington for the 2004 Northwest Tandem Rally. We met our friends Henry and Judy Lahore there and joined forces for many of the events.
June 1, 2004 - We worked our way over Chinook Pass, Highway 410, to Yakima and spent some time looking for the Motor Home of our dreams. We toured the Alpine factory at Western RV. By Friday, June 4th we were in Spokane, Washington, our home town. We spent time with Gary's sister, Holly, and our daughter, Renee and her new husband, Neil and we all had a grand time with my Father, Chester, at the Spokane Dixiland Jazz Festival in the historic Spokane Masonic Temple.
June 10, 2004 - Now we are off to the annual church camp-out of the Plymouth Presbyterian Church from St. Helens, Oregon. We all met at the Prineville Reservoir State Park. Along the way we stopped to visit long time friends in Pasco and Walla Walla Washington. We also stopped briefly in Bend to visit Dave and Jeanie McKay and take a look at their 34 foot Alpine motor home. Dave and Jeanie were talking about switching to a 36 foot model of the same Alpine. At this point in our life we were not quite ready to take this big of a step into full timing.
